Voice Mail:

Parents may call the school or teachers anytime and leave a message on our voice mail system.  For emergencies or attendance information please leave your message with the main office. Teachers will not access their voice mail during instructional time.

E-Mail

Many staff members use this as a communication tool.  Staff e-mail addresses are available on the school website under Staff Listing.

Open House:

An Open House will occur in mid-September. The purpose of this event is to give parents an opportunity to meet the school staff and visit their child’s classroom.

School Newsletter:

Our school newsletter, “Dickinsfield Flyer”, is e-mailed the last week of every month and it is also posted on the school website.  It will contain school information, a monthly calendar, and upcoming events to keep you informed.  From time to time additional information will be sent home.

Parent Teacher Interviews:

Progress letters are sent home in early October and mid February.   Report cards are sent home in November, March and June.   Parent-teacher interviews are scheduled the week following the first and second reporting period.  (See calendar).

Concerts, Special Events, Assemblies

During the year many special events are held for children. Parents are encouraged to attend.
